Site & Setup Requirements

Smoked Festival is a cashless event. You will need your own EFTPOS / Point of Sale system (e.g. Square). Site allocation is at the discretion of Capricorn Events.

Need a larger site? You can add extra 3m x 3m sites on the ticketing page. Please also include your full setup requirements in the notes below.
Wall backing and carpet are optional and charged at $150.
Include full dimensions of your setup footprint, any back-of-house needs, trailers, vehicles, and any extra 3m x 3m sites you plan to add on the ticketing page.
All leads must have current test & tag. Power boards must have circuit breakers.

Important Information
  • Trade exhibitor sites are limited and subject to approval.
  • Site allocation is determined by Capricorn Events.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own marquees, displays and equipment.
  • All structures must be suitably weighted and secured.
  • Vehicles may only access the site during approved bump in and bump out periods.
  • All electrical equipment must be current test and tagged.
  • Public Liability Insurance is mandatory.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe site.
  • Sponsor and promotional material must remain within the allocated site footprint.
  • No product sales outside the approved site area.
  • Smoked Festival operates as a cashless event.
  • Additional operational requirements may be communicated prior to the event.
Terms & Conditions
  • All exhibitors must hold current Public Liability Insurance and upload a copy of their Certificate of Currency as part of their application.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Applications will be reviewed by the Event Organiser and successful applicants will be notified following assessment.
  • Exhibitors are required to be fully operational during the advertised trading hours of the festival unless otherwise approved by the Event Organiser.
  • The Event Organiser reserves the right to allocate exhibitor sites at its sole discretion and may amend site allocations where operational requirements necessitate.
  • Exhibitors must comply with all reasonable directions provided by Capricorn Events, event staff, contractors and venue management.
  • Smoked Festival is a cashless event. Exhibitors are responsible for providing and operating their own EFTPOS or Point of Sale system.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for supplying all equipment required to operate their site, including marquees, displays, shelving, tables, chairs and tagged and tested power leads unless otherwise agreed.
  • All electrical equipment used on site must be current test and tagged and comply with applicable safety requirements.
  • No tobacco, cigarettes, vaping products or prohibited items may be sold or distributed from exhibitor sites.
  • Exhibitors are encouraged to present a professional, high quality site that contributes positively to the overall presentation and atmosphere of the festival.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for maintaining their site in a clean and safe condition throughout the event and must leave their site in the same condition in which it was provided.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for taking all reasonable precautions regarding the security of their stock, valuables, equipment and personal property.
  • Capricorn Events accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or injury arising from participation in the event, except where required by law.
  • Capricorn Events makes no guarantee regarding attendance numbers, customer spending, sales performance or profitability. The event will proceed in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the Event Organiser or relevant authorities.
  • The Event Organiser reserves the right to modify event operations, site allocations, exhibitor requirements or event layouts where necessary for operational, safety or compliance reasons.
  • Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in removal from the event without refund.
